Privacy Policy
We take data privacy seriously. This policy explains what we collect and why. See also our Terms of Service.
1. What we collect
We collect: your email address (used to send trial details and expiry reminders); payment information processed by our payment provider (we do not store card details); and basic usage logs (instance start/stop times, provisioning status). We do not collect analytics or behavioral data by default.
2. What we do not collect
We do not access, read, or retain the content of your trial instances. We do not store BYOK credentials beyond the instance lifecycle. We do not sell or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers.
3. How we use your data
Your email is used to: send your trial access URL; send expiry reminder emails (48h and 24h before expiry); send billing confirmations. We do not send marketing email without explicit opt-in.
4. Trial instance data
Data you store in your trial instance lives on a dedicated VPS. At trial expiry, the VPS is permanently deleted. We do not archive, back up, or transfer trial instance data after deletion. We have infrastructure-level access for operational purposes only.
5. Data retention
Account data (email, payment history) is retained for as long as you have an account plus the period required for financial record-keeping (typically 7 years). You can request deletion of your account data at any time, subject to legal retention requirements.
6. Third-party services
We use Hetzner Cloud for VPS infrastructure (EU data centers), Stripe for payment processing, Cloudflare for DNS and CDN, and Let's Encrypt for TLS certificates. Each service operates under its own privacy policy.
7. Cookies
We use essential session cookies for authentication and preferences only. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, but this may affect functionality.
8. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@isitforme.tech. We will respond within 30 days.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy at any time. Significant changes will be communicated by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
